Can anybody actually put a decent challenge as a gambler but with proper strong pokemon designed to try and actuaqlly play the roulette? those in game are obviously designed to be easy to beat, even if they get lucky

Agreed. Apart from their typings, I can see that when the team gets stronger all pokemon can learn lower accuracy higher power moves like zap cannon, hydro pump, fire blast etc. I can also think of something like cinccino BUT with technician instead of skill link (if I remember correctly). Lastly, OHKO moves should also be considered as a last chance desperate attack
