It didn't. You had unskippable cutscenes every 5 seconds, a literal marker on the minimap telling you where to go, 0 exploration, routes were straight ahead, no more HM's, Z moves are shit compared to megas e.t.c.

what island are you on? Goomy is obtainable via SOS during rain in lush jungle on the second island. Dratini isn't obtainable until the last island in vast poni canyon if I'm not mistaken. You get it by fishing/ Also, how are you enjoying the game?

if that's the case then go with goodra.

Also, I'm curious, what do you think of alola's routes? I played US a couple of days ago and I honestly don't think they're as bad as people make them out to be since there are some routes that have branching paths leading to items an trainers
