The thing is that the Hitmons, while humanoid, are still monsters. They're not an animal made into an anthro human, they're weird humanoid things. Cinderace is a rabbit made human like, Incineroar is a tiger made human like, etc. The Hitmons are literally weird ass monsters that happen to fight like humans, they aren't anthros.

They literally are monsters though. All the Pokemon you described are humanoid with human inspirations for their battling style, the only difference between them is some have an animal as a base while some others don’t. I don’t see how being a humanoid animal suddenly stops them from being monsters.
