After coming off emerald/fr playthroughs it was fucking mind numbing. I understand linear progression like the other games but this was ridiculous. Just leave me the fuck alone.

it never fucking ends. this was the only mainline game I put down and had to force myself to finish months later.

Haxorus, Hydreigon, Chandelure, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus, Cincinno, Ferrothorn, Cryogonal, Stunfisk, Bisharp, Volcarona, musketeers, t-genies, Kyurem, legends.

Honestly was surprised I got more than ten. And only 9 of them aren't pseudos/(regional) legends. (8 if Volca is a legend, not sure).

I'm playing BW right now and absolutely loving it but i can't deny this. The game is too hands on, half the interactions can literally be cut out and it would make 0 difference. Like complaining about rival battles and N battles is retarded and the story shit is necessary but holy shit I don't need to be stopped and told about dark grass or about pokemon centers or about pokemon centers again or about how many pokemon on route 1 I fucking caught or even just how sometimes the game let's you walk 3 steps before being interrupted again for no reason. I love gen 5, and the more on the rails experience opens up more later on for sure and isn't bad really but when an interruption is well and truly meaningless and pointless I put my foot down, I really feel like these games need to be evaluated and have the fat trimmed off because it's excessive at times. Players should be expected to discover stuff for themselves, pointing them in the right direction when necessary is ok but if it's literally in my path why am I being told about it? The player was JUST about to see if for themselves and it's spoiled
