Reshiram is the male half, and Zekrom is the female half.
This is an important distinction because a male can be feminine and a female can be masculine.
Reshiram is a bishie, and Zekrom is a tomboy. They match N and Hilda.

Wow, someone else actually gets it? It's like everyone else forgot about the single dot of opposing color inside each half of the yin-yang symbol. They aren't my favorite pair, but they're easily my second favorite pair for all the subtle (and not so subtle) connotations and implications each of them possesses. I only wish a little more of what they represent had been present in the games and anime/movies.
