Vaporeon: Relies on massive HP to absorb damage while giving you options to either defend (Acid Armor) or attack.
Jolteon: Lightning fast with great special attack
Flareon: Amazing physical attack with good special attack and great special defense. Designed so its stronger moves rely on its weaker offensive stat, and vice versa.
Espeon: Amazing special attack with great speed
Umbreon: Defensive wall that uses status moves and indirect damage
Leafeon: Weather-based (sun). Physically bulky with great attack and good speed that can be boosted in sun. Physical attacker that can run defensive sets.
Glaceon: Weather-based (hail). Incredibly slow but has good bulk. Defensive stats are great. Special attack is amazing. Special attacker that can use defensive sets.
Sylveon: Amazing special bulk with great special attack stat, so it can run defensive sets with its amazing defensive typing, or offensive sets with its equally amazing offensive typing. Can run Cute Charm to screw over opposite gendered opponents, or Pixilate to make it a powerhouse.
