SwSh was not obviously rushed. I don't understand how there wasn't a checklist of sprites that needed updating. There had to have been one with all of them, and they ended up cutting corners with this and all aspects of the game because Nintendo wasn't the new gen out quick, and because the new merchandise releasing depends on it.

Anon, it was obvious they were going to add the alt. forms in along with the new regionals, I was saying it since they first revealed it. They didn't "suddenly" decide to support A. Raichu, when the intent was always to put the original and regional form of any pokémon that had two such forms in anyway.

I doubt that they were such late additions that none of the dozens of talented pixel artists at gamefreak could throw together a party icon for it. hell, I could probably make one in about five minute just by editing the preexisting icons.

i made the exact same topic a few weeks back but included pyukumuku and pincurchin (the latter has a small sprite) and half the retards thought I was suggesting they should be regional counterparts

On the bright side the Alolan forms do mean I can hide those ugly too big menu sprites on the Pokédex. I understand making these sprites for the larger Pokémon like Wailord or the Unova box trio but all fully evolved Pokémon? No, they look so out of place next to everyone else.
