Everyone's been saying that May has to have Mudkip because Treecko is taken by Brendan and Torchic is taken by the player. But in Masters, Brendan is Norman's son which makes May the rival which means she has the type advantage which means she has Torchic. Not to mention that Swampert would most likely be Tucker's main.
And even though Flint uses Infernape, it's not like that means Lucas doesn't have an Infernape (though he most likely won't be paired with it).
