Story: You arrive at the crown tundra along with Piers, who decided to come to finally meet Professor Rowan, and his team of explorers, including Rose's brother, Derek. However, when you arrive, you get suddenly attacked by an unknown pokemon, later revealed to be Galarian Zapdos. After all of that, Rowan explains that a huge amount of Legends live here, including the legendary Calyrex. Calyrex is said to have gifted Zacian and Zamazenta the Rusted Sword and Shield respectively, to ward off the evil Eternatus. However, after the battle, Pokemon started to rebel against it and it retreated to the Crown Tundra alongside its 3 most trusted allies, The Galarian birds. After exploring the caves of the legendaries, Derek's assistant Jarron decides that he wants to bring back Calyrex and have it rule over Galar once more, as he is a believer of Calyrex, and thinks that it did no wrong, and the Pokemon should be punished for their actions. Once they reach the Tree of Life, Jarron successfully reawakens Calyrex. However, it is really mad for being awakened by an unpure man, and buries him an avalanche, presumably killing him. He then takes over Derek's body, and the only way to calm it down is to awaken the legendary birds. However, that isnt enough, as Calyrex is so mad that he was awakened, that he summons legends to come out of the ground. However, some of them didnt oblige to such rudeness, specifically the Regis and Regigigas. Regigigas uses its powers to create 2 brand new Regis, being Regibolt and Regidraco, to fight off the rampaging legends. You fight Derek one last time to free him from Calyrex, and it works. However, Dynamax energy awakens from the ground and cause Calyrex to Gigantamax. After defeating and capturing Calyrex, the legends calm down and leave the area. Rowan leaves for Sinnoh as it has been too long since he's been there, and Derek decides to visit his brother in jail for the first time.
