honestly, id just like to have multiple regions again such as gen 2 did, why be limited to 1 region esp now with home console power, though cant have that, with game freak the small indie company

ideally with one though, mexico, Australia or Italy

Pre-Colombian Mexico is the cool one. Aztecs are very interesting. Could be awesome to ge Aztecs, Mayan and Inca´s culture in a huge region.

bait but it would be bad for the same reason a brazil one would be bad, if your country or continent culture is an amalgamation of war and drug culture there's no reason why gamefreak should consider it ever, it's just easier for you to cry about because it just happens to be that darker people seem to give birth to that type of culture

There's potential with a lot of older historic settings if GF was willing to step out of their modern day comfort zone. The classics like Roman Empire, ancient Egypt, or medieval europe would be pretty cool.
