The same applies for Eevees, where at least two of the six most prominent Eevee were female - Virgil's Eevee, and Serena's Sylveon. Of the remaining four (Gary's Umbreon, Sakura's Espeon, May's Glaceon, and Lana's Eevee, Sandy), only Sandy is confirmed to be male.
