I'm not really into gen 8 meta but i really like using it in gen7 OU, particularly the calm mind+heal + 2 attacks with Magic guard.

I like it. A fairy from outer space that can evolve right away with a unique item from the moon. Suitable for any team due to its wide TM learnset. A solid mon that's a lot of fun to use ingame with stats that aren't broken

I like its pre-3D depictions. Looks too blobby/bloated in 3D. Competitively it had cool abilities, especially being the original Magic Guard mon. Then Fairy came along and it got stronger. Then Teleport got buffed and now people are crying about it.

I hope when the time comes they ban Teleport instead of Clef, but knowing them and their stickler rules, since Teleport Cosmog is bad it can't possibly be Teleport's fault and they'll just wipe Clef.

Clefable might be my favorite Kanto pokemon. I used to not like it because it's girly but it's a great team member in the Kanto games. Absolutely humongous movepool and can evolve early with the moon stone in Mt Moon.
Good for it being busted in SwSh. Bro deserves it.

I wasn't really a fan of this Pokemon until its typing changed from Normal to Fairy. There were so many pure Normal Pokemon that Clefable barely stood out to me. But Clefable is one of the very few pure Fairies in the game, especially in the gen it came out. Since Fairy is my second favorite typing (after Dark), I love Clefable even more now. Clefable is one of my favorite Fairy-types.

Have you thought about that maybe the reason why Teleport Clefable is so strong is because you can brainlessly pivot into Dracovish for free with it, and that the things that Vish doesn't want to switch into are fucking petrified of Clefable?

I don't keep up with NatDex so I wouldn't know the state of the meta but Gardevoir is a bad Teleport candidate since it's not bulky so unsurprisingly it's not used on it. Arcanine has 68% Teleport usage at OU 1825 stats and 49% Teleport usage at OU 1695 stats.

That's not universally true. I'm sure there are circumstances where it applies but I can already think of Toxapex, Ferrothorn, Sylveon, physical Dragapult, and Galarian Weezing off the top that threaten both.
