Battle tower has always been awful, if it was worth a damn you could earn continues like in Stadium in the event of being cheesed out but it's specifically designed to be RNG bullshit.

It's called maintaining a streak which is a challenge. Yes there's a lot of luck involved but that's the charm, the whole series is based on luck anyway, with critical hits and not all moves having accuracy.
Of course people like >>43716958 and >>43716999 exaggerate what the whole experience is like. Obviously the battle frontier won't please everyone but there's plenty of different facilities to try between Gen 3 and 4.
The Battle Factory is honestly one of the most fun Pokémon experiences I've had, there's strategy involved in which Pokémon to switch after knowing whether the next trainer will use a team based on a certain type or not. And just like Nuzlockes, it's easy to get attached to Pokémon you wouldn't previously care about.

That's why competitive is best 2 out of 3, ranked play isn't streak based, and the rest of the game has no streak mechanics. Streaks+RNG=outcome entirely outside player control

Technically the Elite Four + Champion is a streak because you have to defeat all 5 trainers in a row.
But without that nitpicking, I understand your point. Perhaps they could make matches best of 3 but does that mean the early n00b CPUs will have a chance to try again once you defeat them to make it fair? I think you have a genuine complaint but perhaps a best-of format would just make the whole experience last really long. There's a reason why the Single battles only have 3 Pokémon

I know there´s the battle streak in the tower, but to get the symbols I wish it at least let you start from the current batch of 7 trainers you´re facing, it´s a waste of time, specially repeating the very first few battles, the battle Dome and Arena were easier but the fucking palace can kiss my ass.

After getting swept by a Shuckle with Double Team, Power Trick, and Stone Edge on the 22nd fight in Diamond, these are far from "exaggerations". You lose in three ways:
>Get outplayed
>Get deep enough that the teams you fight are tailored to hard counter your team
>Get swept in the most humiliating way possible by a shitmon with a wildly gimmicky set that only works when the planets align on a blue moon night (requires at least two misses/flinches/OHKOs/super lower damage rolls in a row).
I always hated the streak system in BT because it made advancing more like playing slots at a casino than a game of skill, but I guess that's just 3v3 for you as a whole.
