Couldn't decide between manectric and mightyena as hoenn rep dog.
I didn't mean to say they were bad (at least stoutland and day/dusk lycan), just that they're definitely a downgrade from arcanine and houndoom.

yes. they look like cool dog monsters. I have never been a big fan of arcanine because I think it looks a little bland and undefined, and houndoom is a plastic toy just like bolthund
I think arcanine's concept is cool though

There's nothing monsterish about stoutland and lyc, they look like normal canids.
Houndoom may be a dobberman but at least it has hell elements to accentuate its fire type.
