Don't get me wrong, the region was top-tier, the soundtrack was great and I liked some of the characters (Miror B especially). Also the NPC dialogue was hilarious, far better than the 10000 variations of 'GEE I LOVE POKEMON' we have in the main games.
But the entire game is just fast-travelling between cities, do a dozen battles in a row, catch the handful of pre-selected Pokemon you're allowed to catch, and tediously grind them to purify. Then repeat.
There's no exploring, no catching or team-building, the game really needs routes to give a break between the main story. And
double-battles fucking suck
