If they hadn't bothered with shitting out terrible remake before moving to the Switch and instead alluded to Sinnoh early on through some would-be dialogue on his part and THEN followed it up with the expected Sinnoh remakes that were technically "due" in Gen VII, it would've landed far better even without.
