>>43777936>>43778488get that "anatomy" mentality out of your head. That's probably why it has taken you so long. A lot of beginner-intermediate artists think "anatomy" in art is studying the name of muscles, drawing them individually or something.
Just do a lot of figure drawing and you'll get a feel for shapes and perspective, you do individual studies once you have the bigger picture. Assuming what I said is how you've approached drawing.
If you're leaning towards plus sized chicks or something just google thick curvy models on google. You'll then be able alter sizes and stuff

Also look at artists that have already achieved what you're trying to do because they already went through all the trouble and have the answer. This isn't a replacement for figure drawing though, just more specific areas.
