blastoise deserves a recovery move imo, it's not bulky enough to be a wall but it's offensive stats aren't good enough to be a tank either.

Blastoise is still slower with far weaker attack stats (Blastoise 85 special vs Venusaur's 100 special ) and no ICE STAB bonus, it barely makes a difference.

I think the word choice could have been better. Stronger implies blastoise is simply more powerful than charizard all things considered. I think it would have made more sense to say "is supposed to have a type advantage over" instead.
