Because it's part of the Crown Tundra DLC which is coming much later.
Slowbro was kept a secret until now, they'll do the same for Slowking.

Pretty good chance that Galarian Slowking will have the same typing as Galarian Slowbro: Poison/Psychic. Galarian Slowbro's bio specifically states that the Shellder's bite forced a chemical change in Galarian Slowpoke's body after it ate the Galarica Seeds so that it gains the Poison-type. Same thing will happen here.

I keep telling you guys, DLC 2 is a remake of The Power of One since they recently used Lugia in a film anyways. The three birds got new forms, Slowking got a new form like he did to show up in the movie, and so Lugia will get a new form.

Correction, a Ho-Oh and Lugia shows up together Dynamaxing. Wouldn’t be the first time we saw a Pokémon that could GMax Dynamaxing in a trailer instead.
