I called it right, GF would only want to deliver on threads they already started, not keep giving away more info. Explicitly new info would've been a surprise with the way they've laid it out.

They were on the showy side for years and got criticized for not leaving enough surprises in-game. Remember, they showed literally every ORAS mega pre-release. I feel like hiding info is a good thing. If someone is into spoiling things for themselves, they'll look into what the game has during the launch period when the datamine comes out and is shared, so it's not that much of a loss really.

The problem is if people are paying THIRTY FUCKING DOLLARS for DLC for a polished turd of a game (when they never even should have had to in the first place), they shouldn’t have to worry about a lack of content or having “too much” content being revealed to them before the DLC drops. The amount of con content SHOULD be fucking massive, keyword: SHOULD. But it won’t. This is Ishihara/Gamefreak we’re talking about and you’ll buy it anyway.
