Beartic and Eiscue have the exact same problems: they're conceptually boring as hell and they look like they were designed so you could recognize their silhouettes rather than look like desirable monsters you would want to train.

People prefer Cubchoo over Beartic because Cubchoo has a cute concept and a marketable design that isn't ugly as sin.
