No base game has the amount of clothes the game will have after the DLC
No third version has added 12 new monsters plus 6 new forms
No base game has had a minigame to acquire all legends
No base game has two extra not-battle-tower battle challenges
No base game has 13 extra tutor moves
No base game has this much attention to the not-box-art legends
By all means, all the content in the DLC is meatier equivalents of what we get in third versions. It is far from "stuff that would've been in the base game 10 years ago OKAY?!?! FUCK YOU!"
