I skipped Gen III when it came out and didn't play it until like 2008 when I got into Pokemon. How the fuck did 11 year old years olds with early 00's web point 1.0 figure this out, I mean now all you need to do it Google

Back in those days we had guide books. And like the apostles of Jesus we spread knowledge to those not fortunate enough to have them. I legit learned braille for a few years from it too.

On the last page of the Ruby/Sapphire guide book that was included with the original game box, you had a pgae that had the braille alphabet. Was the first kid in my school to discover the regis back then, was such a glorious time...

Honestly the Braille alphabet should have been included in the game, it's a bit shitty to rely on the player to still have the guide that came with the game
