I honestly enjoyed it just for the stealing mechanic. You can build some fun teams with it. The story is meh.

Yeah that's the problem with a lot of ROM hacks, you got a talented programmer but all they can do is just reuse assets. It's nice when a game has new tilesets and sprites though
