Anthropomorphic pokemon are questionable, but can be alright in the end if they’re either given a specific theme (like a trope or occupation), are androgynous, or both. Lopunny is one of those pokemon that are anthropomorphic, but have no theme whatsoever, it literally could pass off as a fursona.
Incineroar has the safety of being a wrestler, like Machoke and Machamp and all the Hitmons. Delphox has the safety of being a magician, like Mr. Mime. That, too, can extend to the likes of Greninja and Blaziken and Chesnaught. But Lopunny? It’s literally just a furry. It has no theme, it isn’t a starter, it doesn’t have a passable backstory and a real-life influence like Salazzle, it’s just made to be meat for furries to lust over.
