Like, the Pokémon’s speed now not only determines who attacks first when they’re in close range, but also how many tiles they can travel through in a specific amount of seconds when they’re distant or want to move away from the opposing Pokémon. It will also open up the opportunity for ranged physical and special attacks and explain how far they can go, like rock slide and flamethrower. Accuracy checks being more dynamic, natural and pokemon-made obstacles becoming integral parts of the tactic, so on and so forth.
