No. Just like every game from ORAS they showed a little bit of what everyone wants aka G-Slowpoke to reel them in so everyone gets hype expecting more but it turns out that's actually the exception and not the rule but it's too late because you already bought it expecting more content but you got exactly what they showed off even though it's nowhere near as fleshed out as they implied it to be so enjoy it you entitled manbaby or else you are racist/harrassing Masuda/supporting Dev crunch even though you're practically begging them to stop and take some to make a good game for more than a year. But oh wait, can't do that because we're a massive corporation and I need my fix NOW NOW NOW but oops GS needs to be reworked, let's delay it for 3 years and gah, we just can't get DP out in time with online, let's delay it for two years... The graph on their website said that we'd get Galarian Forms in the DLC, not Galarian Form. So far the only Galarian Form we have in the DLC is Slowbro, so I'm assuming that at the very least we will get more Galarian Forms. Not sure about evolution though.

I will be sad if there isn't a Galarian Slowking. Slowbro gets all the love just because it's gen 1, but Slowking has got no focus since Pokemon 2000 and the Slowking short.

Slowbro is more used because Slowking's a trade evolution, Slowbro has a better stat distribution, Slowbro got a Mega, and now a Galarian Form. I wouldn't be surprised if Galarian Slowpoke just simply only has Slowbro to evolve into. That said, Galarian forms weren't just for gen 1 Pokemon this time so who knows.

It's possible. Not going to outright say no. The gimmick of these regional forms is that some of them can evolve to their own unique species. It'd be a disservice if Game Freak introduced new regional forms in the DLC without making at least one of them evolve into a new Pokemon. But with USUM, we didn't get any Alolan forms, so who is to say whether or not we get something or not? Right now I believe it's 50-50. Game Freak and TPC went out of their way during the SWSH prerelease to not tease major character or plot points, and we had so much shit that they withheld from the PR. The same could very well happen here. Let's face it: Galarian Slowpoke and its evolutions were only introduced early to market both DLC, as they are each exclusive to a single DLC. The legendary birds were advertised due to their marketability status and also Legendaries having regional forms. I believe that since these DLC have at least 5 months of development time, and they already went beyond the design/concept phase before we got the announcement in January, they wouldn't spend those additional months to just design new textures or animations of older Pokemon. We may have some meat to the content in the DLC.

Not true. Even if we don't get Galarian forms or new Pokemon, we still have at least one Gigantamax Pokemon for Klara and Avery (may be Gigantamax Galarian Slowbro). Still, we don't have anything for them.

They also haven't listed all 100+ returning pokemon.

the only thing I can think of is if you verse them later ( champion cup for example ) in which they reveal their actual gigantamax poke.

Basically in the same vein as Nessa having a dynamax Drednaw and afterward having a Gigantamax Drednaw at endgame

Most likely is just so people don't rage pre-release when they find out their favorite isn't a fist pick to put back into the game.

It could also mean we'll get a few more Galarian forms or evolutions, and without letting us know the new roster, we can't even really guess to get our expectations up, and GF have been super stingy with info to keep everything a surprise.

I don't think we'll get a ton, but I do think we'll get a few more with each DLC addition. I think it'll mostly just be new forms, and maybe one (or two) new evolutions

We're at least gettint G-slowking, they might add a handful more galarian forms in the DLC. We don't have a regional form of a gen 4,6, or 7 mon yet. What would be a curve ball is the galarian only evolutions getting standard forms alo g with G-confagrius,G-persian,and A-persekker

Doesn’t seem like it.

Definitely expecting more Gigantamax forms, though. Seems like that’s where they’ve invested in the games’ longevity.
