Well I certainly dont like stuff like Aromatisse or the non Greninja starters, and I definitely don't like Dmaxing, but I'm not entirely negative towards them. I would say the pokemon I dislike are the other 8 starters that aren't Greninja, Aromatisse, Lycanroc, Salazzle, Tsareena, Coalossal, Toxtricity, Hatterene, Obstagoon, Alcremie, and the Gen 8 fossils and legends. Everything else I'm at least neutral to design wise, and anyone making a fan game would probably want to fix their types or stats where they see fit. Some of my favorites came from 6+, and I would love to use them in a competent game.
