What's the optimal team for clearing dungeons post-game?
Pokemon with multi-hit moves and Rapid Bull's-Eyes seem like a good starting choice, currently hoping to find a Phanpy with it so I can link Defense Curl and Rollout.

Snag a Heracross and give it RBE.
Then as soon as you can get a Shellder with Skill Link and use Cloyster instead.
For level reset dungeons get a Politoed with Narrow Focus and spam perish song.
That's the meta for this game. I had a love of fun destroying dungeons with it. I was even encouraged to go ahead and just recruit every mon and get them to level 100 with how much tedium was cut out of the remake.
Bretty gud game 8/10

For non reset dungeons, did you find that having Pokemon with strong room attacks weren't as helpful?

They definitely were, but my strat was to beeline it to Marvelous Sea/Fantasy Strait for dat EXP gain.
Mew and Celebi get a wide range of room moves like Earth Power/Blizzard/Heat Wave. I used them alongside my starters to grind. It only takes a couple of runs with EXP boost to cap your mons, really.
They put a lot of love into this game
