I’ve actually thought about this before in similar threads. Dragon Type gym with a Dungeon’s and Dragons theme. Layout is a maze broken down into 3 sections decorated to resemble d&d trope locations: a forrest, an underground catacomb, and a dragon’s hoard (which is just piles of my badge). The entrance would look like a tavern aswell. Gym trainers would use use mons like Obstagoon (gnoll) or moregrem (goblin) that are based on common fantasy/d&d enemies.

Carnival style and arcade mini games for your pokemon. Ranged moving targets that have to be hit within X attacks. Whack a mole type of thing, etc.

Visual of a target being broken

The ones running the games plus 1 trainer to make sure the challenger isnt just accurate for the minigames but also raised their pokemon enough

sliding block puzzles on roofs where you have to push the correct colored boxes down the correct chimneys according to hints given by the trainers you fight. when you get the right boxes, the doors to the houses will open up and there will be gifts you can take, as well as a passage to the next section of the gym.

in one of houses that opens up, theres a TM for present. you can use it out of battle on trainers who will exchange an item when you use present on them.

The player would start in the basement and progress further by either choosing to battle the Nurse lackeys to gain access to the elevator, or by wading through discarded medical supplies and waste, periodically inflicting the toxic debuff on random party members and dealing with Muk horde battles.
