I love all moon stone pokemon. My first playthrough of Blue I had a Nidoking and Clefairy on my team since they're the better gen 1 moon stone pokemon

I never got the beef with low bst mons. It's literally a cat, it wouldn't make sense to have good stats. That said, I don't see why skitty is as rare as it is, literally only get one moon stone and skitty is a 2% encounter on 1 route. Should be common. I'm all for rare pokemon but they should be worth it when you get them

Jokes on you this kitty helped me on my Alpha Sapphire team. In my first try vs Kyogre I sent her to try lowering its health with a Double Edge and her alone defeated it with just one of those and Silk Scarf. Don't remember if it was crit or not, but I got pretty stunned for that.

I never understood, why does Delcatty evolve from a Moon Stone? It seems so random.
Clefairy's from the moon, and Nidoran are rabbits, so those make sense.
I don't really get Jigglypuff or Musharna either, but they at least have some features in common, being kinda moon shaped, having similar associations, I don't super like it, but it bothers me less for some reason.

If OP isn't mentionning clefable, and mention wasting a moonstone, implying it's a scarce ressource, good chance he's talking about some older gen that aren't competitively relevant.
