I installed Home a few days ago. I know i'm late to the party, but wtf Is this bullshit?
Why cant you use the GTS on the Switch? Can I use It if I give them more sheckels?
Why Is everyone asking for a Poipole?
Why didnt I hear anyone bitch about It since this Is far worse than Dexit?
Also its fucking useless to pay since trades are not happening unless you have a box of Zacian/Zamazenta but in that case as an injectfag you dont even need to trade

If they have gts on the game it will be locked behind nintendo switch online because nintendo said so, gamefreak has no say. By separating it on an app, you can use the gts for free. This is helpful for young players whose parents might not want to pay for NSO. The free gts version works exactly the same as in prev gen (1 pokemon). You do not need to pay to use the gts. Paying just give you 2 more slot. The main valid complain is the price point for the other features.

Not OP, but this is a really good point I never considered.
A subscription is pretty much necessary with Home if you want to use it for anything, but it makes sense that it allows kids to not double-dip on subscription fees.

- The level 1-10 Poipole's are just to fuck with people, the player who posted that is a shithead. Gamefreak's only method for combatting this is to ensure no pokemon can be asked for at an impossible level, but making a database of what levels everything is available at is too much work for Gamefreak. Short answer: Gamefreak are cunts.

- You didn't hear any bitching because nobody fucking uses it. It is the least active GTS of any generation. Gamefreak makes you pay for it, and most people who pay for it are content with just uploading a Shiny and asking for an impossible Poipole. Short answer: Gamefreak and paypigs are both cunts.

- It's easy to get Zacian and Zamazenta, you just need to post a Shiny asking for one and wait. Failing that, a sport ball caterpie or HA kanto starter in an unusual pokeball might nab you one. Also sport ball and safari ball mons in general, since they're the hardest to come by. Short answer: This isn't really an issue once you're familiar with how valuable certain Pokemon are.

Living dex in Home gives an Original colour Magearna and as everyone either missed the shiny Poipole event and aren't arsed replaying USM for Poipole, people be begging.

Can confirm you don't need a living Pokedex. Don't even need to transfer in Pokemon that don't exist in gen 8. If you transfer one thing from Bank, it registers all your Pokedex entries from other games, so if you've completed all those, you just need to move in 1 of every gen 8 Pokemon which is free. I don't even have a Home Subscription and was given the Magearna.
