I think it will have megas, since dynamax is Galar exclusive, but with GF you never know. I think we will get some sort of new area that's a wild area. I also think a postgame episode with Giratina and Arceus is highly likely. What do you think?

I'm expecting nothing. We have the 25th anniversary next year and Pikachu is the 25th pokemon, so we'll have another year of Kanto Pandering, let's Go Pichu is my guess seeing as Ohmori stated in an interview that Let's Go was made to be the base of pokemon games on Switch. GF has a good lazy game formula with Raids and Dynamax replacing story and exploration so they will probably try to release more DLC or Gen 9 in 2022 to milk it further. On the off chance we do get Sinnoh remakes, I expect disappointment, with raids and dynamax shoehorned in as the main features but still lacking proper events for Arceus and the many giveaway pokemon like Manaphy and Shaymin.

Note that 25 is the "Silver anniversary" as well so Gold and Silver remakes make a ton more sense and could be made with the Let's Go model already developed. HGSS being gen 4 also makes GS a good candidate to hint at or transition into Sinnoh remakes.

There's no reason to believe this, they haven't even hinted at it. We could see a reference to it in the SWSH DLC but until then I'm more inclined to believe in a remake of Johto for the 25th anniversary

Diamond and Pearl's 15th anniversary is next year, so that makes more sense. Plus, the new regis could mean that you have to transfer them over to get Regigigas. There have been tons of hints about a Sinnoh remake, way more than I stated.

Masuda literally said they like doing remakes, because it gives people a chance to get to revisit and play through a game they loved. The DP remakes would obviously sell out ORAS, so they will for sure make it, probably next year.

Doubt it unless they try to shoehorn it in by saying Galar is close to Sinnoh. Megas are a lot more based. Dynamax makes more mins usable but helps with the games feeling watered down. And the majority of megas needing a stone is arguably more competitive (imo)

There's no reason to believe this, any pattern you could follow has been broken by let's go and DLC. It's completely up in the air until they announce something and so far all we have to look forward to is DLC.

Again, there's nothing to hint at this other than patterfags and people shouting about a lack of gen 4 pokemon in galar's dex, which has other explanations. It's just as plausible that they'll do something with Johto or Kanto again for the 25th anniversary

Sinnoh most definitely does NOT need a remake. Not because it's bad (Gen IV and V are the best actually) but because theres nothing to be gained. The previous 3 remakes were all of Gens that had had important gameplay changes since the originals. DPP however was the last time the core gameplay was changed in any meaningful capacity or any noticeable amount of older Pokemon got new evolutions. Plus the hardware on the DS was advanced enough Gen IV didn't have to make sacrifices like the older games on the pitiful Gameboy hardware did. All you would be getting is a 3D graphics reskin.
