The only level-up moves it has are Powder Snow and Struggle Bug, both of which are low-powered moves for their types. The strongest move Snom gets is the TR for Bug Buzz, which you are unlikely to get unless you invest heavily in the Wild Area. Its egg moves are Bug Bite (useless when it is a special attacker), Fairy Wind (a weak Fairy-type move), and Mirror Coat. Even its stats are pretty damn low. Meanwhile, Sizzlipede and Larvesta get almost every move for their type, and they aren't restricted with this. Even if this Pokemon has a time-based friendship evolution, other Pokemon that also have this same evolutionary method have better stats or a movepool. Snom is a decent-looking Pokemon with a long requested type combination, but in execution it is horrible. Add insult to injury, you catch this Pokemon super late into the adventure anyway, and you're already fighting Level 38-42 wild Pokemon by the time you encounter it. Snom doesn't need to be restricted like this; it's not fucking Scatterbug or Blipbug.
