>>43810778Really make sure you utilize the DexNav feature. Catch any pokemon and then encounter it five more times. After the fifth encounter you'll be able to see its first move, ability/item, and if it has any perfect stats. Then you can specifically search for a certain pokemon using DexNav to make getting exactly what you want a lot easier, and to get higher level and unique move, hidden ability, and great stat having pokemon.
Always replant berries, especially leppa berries. It's easy as hell and a lot of berries are really useful in the game. A lot of the routes need to be revised, and the contests are a lot of fun, especially now being able to DexNav.
Have fun, and after you first encounter the box legendary is when you can start catching a lot more really great pokemon all across the region. It's a good time to double back and re-explore all the routes you already went through. Don't forget the route from Petalberg to Dewford and Slateport, and don't forget the Trick House.
