>>43824508I think both rejuvenation and reborn are real solid (my favorite pokemon games), both have their pros and cons though.
Reborn can feel grindy, there's no EV trainers, some people think the story tries too hard to be edgy, I don't mind it all too much (some points were dumb admittedly), but I think the challenge is presented better (all battles except for one or two, feel like they prepare you super well with terrain info), and the location/layout of areas are better.
Rejuvenation suffers from too many characters thrown at you at a single time (Reborn does this to a lesser degree imo), hides some optional content too well (constantly have to search every area after every gym), has some fights where it feels like you can't prepare or handle it fairly, but also has some great quality of life changes, like egg moves from the move reminder (only after the 7th gym), EV trainers from the very start, HM replacement items, and cool additional stuff.
I wasn't big on Insurgence personally for a couple reasons, namely graphical inconsistencies, music just being gamemaker presets (I don't know if it's true, but it sounds bad), most areas feel either scattered or half-baked, and the OC regional forms and megas weren't my favorite.
Tl;dr, you'll have to try it to see it, you might like it I dunno
>>43824610aside from one or two examples, it feels to me like rejuvenation limits mon choices just as bad for the first bit, what you receive around certain badges feels almost exactly when you get them in reborn.
