So does that mean that any battles in the DLC are going to be underleveled if you already beat the game, or will they somehow level scale it? I should add I'm asking this as a total ignorant retard who hasn't even actually played Gen 8 yet, and the trailer seemingly just showed you training the bear mon, so maybe that's most of it anyways and the battles don't matter.

I think the Isle of Armor has some islands that you'll only be able to access with the water bike that you don't get access to until after the sixth gym. However, I assume there will be some level scaling like in the battle tower, otherwise, the DLCs would have zero challenge to people that already beat the main story and post-game.

If the DLCs are too low level for you, start a new team with the Pokemon you get on the island.
