But even ignoring that, I never remembered this in my BW playthroughs, so showing my autism here, many years ago I went through to this point in the game (without saving because I didn't want my file deleted, so was a pain in the arse) and sure enough she never said this, before or after battling, provided proof at the time. Somebody said I didn't get that message because I used Hilda over Hilbert, so I did it again, with proof. Wish I still had the images.
