About to finish HeartGold. So far I've played Emerald, FireRed and Shield. Do I play Platinum or White next?

Platinum then go for W/B if you want a soft reboot (no old Pokémon during the main storyline) or skip them and go straight to B2W2, which are Imo the best Pokémon games

I was told B2W2 build off BW so I was planning on W > W2
Or maybe W > Plat > W2 depending to cleanse my pallete. I'm also considering X/Y but I hear those sucked

Campaign was stupid easy and the story was laughable, but the region makes up for it. The aesthetics are gorgeous and there’s a ton of good music, and there’s a shit ton of stuff to find in Lumiose City. And I’m in the minority but I really liked the postgame story.

Doesn't sound too bad. None of the games seem story heavy so far anyway, so a good region sounds better than a good story.

Regarding difficulty, is it easier or harder than Sword/Shield?
