>>43824571I agree, but I think those things are subjective. I actually don't mind the evo restrictions, it keeps the balance of the original games intact. My favorite thing about the games actually is how respectful they are to the originals. But yea, RS are better in my eyes, music is good and graphics are arguably better, but kanto is bland and they did very very little to remedy that, even keeping obviously wrong shit from the originals like cycling road not being a bridge. Not to mention the sheer lack of stuff to do when compared to RS, not even just emerald, like, RS still had contests and berry growing, and secret bases, and even it's game corner had roulette. Kanto has battling and catching and that's about it. It's a very pure, no bullshit, no distractions type of game, which is good, but feels utterly bland by comparison, RS were so filled with content that FrLg felt barren as hell
