there's quite a few games where you can get Magnemite really early and its typing is very useful and it stays good as it evolves

and if that weren't enough it actually does appear in almost every single game

Wouldn't go that far. It's good, but not that good. Corviknight is probably the go to broken Sword and Shield Pokemon - of the new ones anyway.
