For the last fucking time: James Turner was not the one in charge of Pokemon design. Unlike previous gens, the credits specifically list Pokemon and Human character design supervisors, because naturally, Gamefreak did not want to leave the most important job up to the gaijin non-senior company member.

The supervisor of Pokemon design was Suguru Nakatsui, he is the one that allowed that piece of fucking shit in your opening post to be made.

Its proportions are just so off putting, like the rest of its body just doesn't match up with the size of its head and hands. If he was just a little bit less skinny, it wouldn't look as bad.

Yes it does, brainlet. Exaggeration of features is how you get a good silhouette in first place. Big hands and feet with a slender body with curves that lead directly to his giant tail is all good visual direction.

it's a great cartoon design with a very recognizable silhouette
but intelleon is straight up ugly and unappealing, the skim limbs with cartoony hands does it no favours and it will never have an iconic silhouette
