When you look at the last three generations most people had issues of the soundtrack, but when you go to the most popular ones they're all ones that give either a sense of danger, adventure or just mystical unknown, just like they did in Gen 2:
>Coastal Kalos route theme>Shalour City>Marsh route by Laverre, and Laverre itself>Slumbering Weald>Glimwood Tangle>Galar Route 10Compared to some of the happy-go-lucky music that dominated the rest of the games like Lumiose City and the town themes of Kalos, literally all of Alola except maybe Vast Poni Canyon and Konikoni, and the wild area and route music of Galar (town themes were okay though).
