I really like gen 5, but I'd argue gen 3 is better. Both radiat effort to make the games good in their own unique way so in my eyes that makes them the best, with gen 2 and 4 trailing closely behind.

Gen 1 has the best atmosphere. It also has the best gameplay. Splitting the special stat was a mistake. Criticals tied to speed was great. Hyper beam not needing to recharge on a kill was based.

Yawn. Shots of mons in movement will make them look bad because you clearly see the splicing. Not so much when you see the whole thing animated.
It's like taking a shot of an inbetween frame of an animation work and calling it bad because the characters look off model. It's supposed to convey movement and it isn't as noticeable as retards say it is.
Pic related is a perfect example of cherrypicking to make your "animated sprites look like shit" argument look good. That's not how the sprites actually look in game.

Not for the most part. Pinwheel Forest is the only truly impressive dungeon. Village Bridge is the only memorable place. Everything else was derivative or got squandered to focus on the stupid story and retarded characters. You don't get to enjoy the region until BW2.
