>>43836711When I first played, yes, I didn't think of using the rocks in the top floors to block the flow. At first i didn't even want to catch articuno because i didn't know it was there but just get to the other exit of the caves.
Yellow was a game full of discovery to me, i guess as a 6 year with 1 or 2 years of videogame experience, the little quests the game throws at you (Getting bulbasaur, crossing the saffron city gate, finding the warden's teeth) are actually difficult and have a good reward.
Not like modern pokemon where it'sliterally impossible to get stuck and findinf rare pokemon requires no effort
