Do you nickname your pokemon?

I never did as a kid but lately i feel like nicknaming them to give them extra character and distinguish them from others. It would feel weird nicknaming some of these really old pokemon i have. I dont think ill even be able to since im not the OT on some of them so idk if i want a bunch of mismatched names.
What do you do? What do you think I should do?
