Hackers found a Glitchmon called "Egg"
it just takes the default name used depending on where you are, it can sometimes be named " ", aka blank, or your own name, etc... while doing hacked raids for fun, trying to get actual eggs they could hatch
they kinda found some actual eggs they could hatch, but also bad eggs they couldn't, "Egg" being one of its many kind, with all of its data being basically 0s. They mostly used Pokemon dex data number 900 to find it but there are many others which could work
if the DLC has many new Pokemon, the "Egg" could actually transform into an actual Pokemon of the DLC. Someone tried to breed that "Egg" with a party full
this is important for the glitch to work to see what would happen and when taking the "Egg" back discovered it actually doesn't breed an actual egg but also can duplicate the data of the Pokemon you try to put in your PC when taking that non-existant egg into your party. It's mostly due to the "Egg" having 0s for most of its data. You can basically now duplicate any held item and Pokemon in the game, they have the same exact data and so are in no way considered hacked.
If these Pokemon you want to clone were in Home before, the unique Home tracker they have just get reseted now
because of GameFreak trying to resolve a glitch with the most simple but stupid solution and the cloned mon gets a new one, making it actually seen as unique now and making the Home tracker useless basically.
TLDR : the "Egg" is a Glitchmon discovered by hackers letting you clone any Pokemon and Held Item in the game with the help of the Daycare and a party full.
