Been playing through Pokemon Gaia since I've seen people say it was worth playing and turns out it is great. What are some other good ROM hacks to try out?

Pic related, my team at the moment, just about to take on the 6th gym.

Hyper Emerald is amazing, but i never see it talked about on here. Aside from being in Chinese, it has so many features that i can't even mention it in a single post. It's like basically every pokemon game combined into one.

It's weird because the colour choice when they're fainted is the colour it normally uses for pokemon that can fight. There's probably a setting to change it but I haven't looked

But the hack has every single pokemon, move, ability and item till LGPE (even alternate forms like the Cap Pikachus or AZ Floette), has functional mega evolutions and Z moves, totem battles, lots of plot events like the Delta Episode and RR, allows you to battle all the protagonists, go hunting for the UBs and legendaries through wormholes, and so much more. It's unbelievable what it manages to offer. It's a shame it isn't fully translated but there is a partial translation of it that is decent

I played it mate and it's just soooo unbalanced, a huge grindfest and not fun at all. Granted it had many good aspects, but the lack of balance of the game really hurt its quality and explains why it is so forgetten

i should mention all gen 3 English games at least go to the 8th gym with some quality control since i played most off it . and i have literally all gen 4 / 5 roms.

Do NOT play multiple hack roms at the same time or you WILL burn out extremely fast, finish gaia first.
Very good hacks are:

>Polished crystal
>Enhanched emerald
>All drayano hacks
>Prism
