I think it's got like a 5x catch multiplier on ultra beasts, but 0.1x against regular pokemon (for comparison a regular pokeball is 1x). Basically it's a flex and it looks cool as fuck.

Wrong, balltism is a blanket term describing any autistic obsession with what ball you use to catch pokemon. Color coordinating is just one form of balltism, religiously catching every pokemon in only one type of ball is just as autistic.

Why are you spouting obvious headcanon bull shit? Literally nothing states this. The real reason for them not being ultra beasts in the code is because ultra beasts have a lower catchrate with regular balls and you don't get beast balls until after the campaign.

I'd just like to point out that UBs have that red totem aura, which we now know is from Necrozma. Necrozma itself has it when you fight its Ultra form. It's logical to assume that Solgaleo, Lunala, and broken Necrozma lost that aura, and thus have low catch rates with Beast Balls.
