I genuinely, without any sort of memeing/trolling here, had to force myself to play gen 5. It is unbelievably garbage. Gen 6, 7 and even 8 which are supposedly 'the worst things ever' I had 0 issues playing through and instead had a good time, just like I did with every gen before gen 5 too.
The Pokemon gen 5 offers do nothing for me, the region does nothing for me, the challenge is non existent, the characters are forgettable and the only ones i do remember is because they're extremely irritating.
Gen 5 in my humble opinion is shit and easily my least favorite generation in the series, and it's also the generation that I replay the least because I have no interest in it what so ever.
